About us
Narınc Qida started in Quba in 2004 with one carton line. Today 380 people work at the two plants, the Baku office and the company shop, and 140 more join for the season.
How we grew
- 2004The plant opened on the site of an old canning shop at km 162 of the Baku–Quba road: one 1 l carton line, apple and sour cherry juice, 40 staff.
- 2007An apple concentrate line: for the first time we filled juice from our own fruit in the winter months too.
- 2009A preserves shop and the Qudyal brand: white cherry, walnut and quince preserves made to Quba home recipes.
- 2011The pomegranate plant opened in Göyçay. Its first season took in 3,000 tonnes of pomegranates.
- 2014A hot-fill glass line: not-from-concentrate pomegranate juice in 0.75 l bottles.
- 2016The company shop in Baku, on Rashid Behbudov Street.
- 2018Cırtdan: 100% juices with no added sugar for children, in 0.2 l cartons. Both plants were certified to ISO 22000.
- 2022The Quba plant was certified to FSSC 22000; a 3 l bag-in-box line.
- 2025A carton line at Göyçay: pomegranate juice and nectar are now packed without the trip to Quba.
- 2026The online shop: products delivered by the case to your door.
2025 in a paragraph
The two plants took in 36,400 tonnes of fruit: 24,600 tonnes of apples, quince, sour cherries and other fruit in Quba, and 11,800 tonnes of pomegranates in Göyçay. We bought it from 1,700 growers. We filled 58 million cartons, bottles and jars.

How we work with growers
- Contract
- Signed in spring, after blossom: the volume and the minimum price are known in advance.
- Price
- Posted every day of the season at the plant gate and on the site; fruit with a higher Brix earns more.
- Payment
- To a bank account, within 10 banking days of delivery.
- Agronomist
- Our two agronomists visit the orchards in season: the spraying schedule and the picking day are agreed with them.
