How it is made
We never make pomegranate juice from concentrate: Göyçay pomegranates are pressed within two days of picking, pasteurised and filled into glass, cartons or 3 l bags. Its colour and tannic edge change a little from year to year: that is the taste of the variety and the season.
The nectars hold more juice than the regulation’s minimum: 35% in sour cherry, 40% in apricot, 40–50% in pear and quince. The label prints the share in large type, so it is easy to compare on the shelf.
