Fixed price or time and materials?

One project under three contracts: fixed price, time and materials, and a dedicated team. The figures come from our estimator.

A calculator, a laptop and a report with charts on a desk

The example: a web platform with 20 screens, two user roles, an admin panel, two languages, a custom design and no integrations. Our estimator puts it at 16 weeks and about 1,555 working hours, priced between ₼81,500 and ₼104,000 without VAT.

Fixed price

We fix the price before the build, after a discovery phase of 2 to 3 weeks. Discovery is paid separately (₼4,000–9,000) and its results, the screen list, the prototype and the specification, stay with you. The price includes a risk margin, so a fixed price sits near the top of the range. Anything added later is priced as a separate change request.

Time and materials

You pay for the hours actually worked, at the rate card. Every two weeks we send a report: what each task took and what is left. The contract carries an overall cap, and when 80% of it is used we stop and talk. If the requirements are still moving, this model comes out cheaper: there is no risk margin and you set the priorities every sprint.

A dedicated team

If your product will grow for years, hiring the team by the month pays off: a month counts as 160 hours at 10% off the rate card. The team works in your planning; we provide the people, their growth and their replacement. The minimum term is 3 months.

  • Requirements written down and not changing: fixed price.
  • Requirements still settling and the launch date matters: time and materials with a cap.
  • The product will keep growing: a dedicated team.
