Knowledge Day: 612 pupils and 47 first-graders
The new year has begun: three grade 1 classes, three preparatory groups and six new teachers.

The new school year began on 15 September. There are 612 pupils this year: 371 in the Azerbaijani section and 241 in the Russian section. 47 children started grade 1 and were split into three classes: 1a and 1b in the Azerbaijani section, 1c in the Russian section.
At 09:00 the school gathered in the yard. Principal Sabina Gasimova introduced the first-graders and the new teachers, and grade 11 students walked the first-graders to their classrooms.
Six new teachers have joined us this year: two for English, one for physics, one for chemistry and two primary class teachers. The preparatory class has three groups with 46 children in all.
Buses are running on all six routes from day one. If a route or a stop changes, parents get a message before the end of the week.
