Programmes
Four stages, from the preparatory class to grade 11. Every stage has an Azerbaijani and a Russian section, with the same hours of English in both.

Preparatory class
Ages 5–6
The preparatory class takes children who are five by 15 September. Each group has 16 children and two adults, a teacher and an assistant. The day runs from 09:00 to 15:00; lessons last 30 minutes, with active games, time in the yard and lunch in between.

How the languages work
- Language of instruction
- A child studies in the Azerbaijani or the Russian section, and every subject is taught in that language. The section is chosen at admission and can be changed up to grade 4.
- Second language
- The Azerbaijani section has two hours of Russian a week, and the Russian section two hours of Azerbaijani. Pupils in the Russian section study Azerbaijani language and history to the state curriculum.
- English
- Every day in the preparatory class and five hours a week in grades 1–11. From grade 5 each class splits into two groups by level; pupils are tested twice a year and can move between groups.
- Second foreign language
- German or French from grade 7, two hours a week. Pupils choose in May of grade 6.
