Səmt was founded in 2012 by Elshan Bagirov, a guide on the Sheki and Quba roads since 1998. We now have six guides and work with licensed local guides abroad. We travel every new route ourselves before a group does.
In 2025 we took 4,860 travellers on 312 departures; 41% of them had been with us before. A group is never more than 20 people, 16 on mountain tours.

Tural RzayevTour leader: Uzbekistan, Jordan, ItalyOur first time by train, and we don’t want the plane again: on board in the evening, in Tbilisi by morning. Leyla had explained the border in advance; the check took 40 minutes.
The village house in Khinalug is simple, but dinner was the best of the trip. The walk at Laza is tiring; Ramil stopped every half hour. Nights are cold even in August, bring something warm.
Giving Petra a whole day was right: we climbed to the Monastery without rushing. The night in the Wadi Rum tent was cold, and they brought blankets. With the Jordan Pass we paid nothing at the border.
