Management

The group is run by a six-member Management Board. The directors of the five companies report to it.

Rasim Aliyev
Founder, Chairman of the Management Board
A metallurgical engineer by training. He founded the steel trading company in Baku in 1998 and started the first tube mill in Sumgait in 2006.

Kamran Huseynov
Chief Operating Officer
Responsible for the three plants’ production plans and capital projects. He joined as a shift foreman in the tube shop and ran Murov Metal from 2014 to 2019.

Sevinj Mammadova
Chief Financial Officer
Leads the group’s financial reporting, banking relationships and budgeting. An ACCA member, she spent 8 years in audit before joining the group.

Tural Babayev
Chief Commercial Officer
Responsible for sales, export and distribution agreements. He signed the group’s first export contract, to Georgia, in 2012.

Elnur Guliyev
Technical Director, Quality and HSE
Heads the plant laboratories, certification and the health and safety service. He is an International Welding Engineer (IWE).

Nargiz Rzayeva
Human Resources Director
Responsible for hiring, training and the apprenticeship programme with vocational schools, which 118 people have completed since 2022.
