Murov Metal

The Sumgait plant turns hot- and cold-rolled coil into pipes, hollow sections and cut-⁠to-length sheet, and fabricates steel structures to drawings.

The plant started in 2006 with a single tube mill. Today it runs 4 tube and section mills, 2 cut-⁠to-length lines and 1 slitting line, a galvanising bath and a 9,600 m² fabrication shop. In 2025 it shipped 96,400 tonnes.

The fabrication shop is certified to EN 1090-2 up to execution class EXC3: frames for warehouses and production halls, pipe racks, tank supports, greenhouse frames. Shop drawings come from the plant’s own design office, and an engineer is sent to site to supervise erection.
