What it shows
The iron moving in the blood. It changes during the day: before 10:00, and 7 days after the last iron pill.
Your doctor reads the result: the laboratory does not diagnose or prescribe. The result sheet gives the reference range beside each value.

Preparation
- 8 hours after your last meal, on an empty stomach. Water is fine.
- The sample is taken before 10:00
- Tell the nurse which medicines you take.
