Where to start

If VLOOKUP and pivot tables are new to you, start with Excel essentials. If you already use pivot tables, go straight to Power BI or SQL; Python comes easier after SQL.

For economists, sales and finance staff who build the same report by hand every week, people moving into data analysis, and companies that want their staff to spot phishing.

Which version of Excel do I need?

The lab runs Microsoft 365. At home Excel 2016 or newer is enough; only the dynamic arrays such as FILTER and UNIQUE need Microsoft 365 or Excel 2021.

Is an online group as good as the classroom?

Online lessons are live: the instructor sees your screen, checks the exercise and answers you in the lesson. The recording stays open to the group for 14 days. Two screens help: the lesson on one, Excel on the other.

Does the data analyst programme guarantee a job?

No course can promise that. Each stage of the programme ends with a project, and at the end you build and present a final piece using all four tools: work you can show at an interview.
