About us
Elchin Vazirli and Narmin Talibzade founded the firm in 2006 with three lawyers. Today we are 14 lawyers and 9 support staff in Baku and Ganja.
History
- 2006Elchin Vazirli and Narmin Talibzade open the firm in two rooms on Rashid Behbudov Street. The first clients are Turkish construction companies.
- 2009Rauf Hasanli joins from the tax authority and builds the tax practice.
- 2011Leyla Abbasova starts the employment and migration practice.
- 2012The first international arbitration: a construction dispute in Vienna.
- 2014Tural Huseynzade opens the Ganja office.
- 2016IP and technology practice with Orkhan Mammadli.
- 2019The Baku office moves to Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street: two meeting rooms and a video conference room.
- 2025412 new matters, clients from 19 countries, 6% of our hours pro bono.
- 2026A monthly free advice day for small businesses starts at the Ganja office.
How we work
- Conflicts
- Before a meeting we check that the other side is not our client. If it is, we do not take the matter and say so straight away.
- Engagement letter
- The scope, the fee and who will work on the matter are written down before work starts.
- Reply times
- E-mails are answered within 1 working day. For urgent matters the partner’s mobile number is in the engagement letter.
- Statements
- On hourly work, a monthly statement showing who worked, when and on what.
- Confidentiality
- A client’s name and matter are mentioned anywhere only with their written consent. Files are kept for 5 years after a matter closes.
Pro bono
In 2025 we gave 6% of our hours free of charge: legal work for two associations that help people with disabilities, the advice day for small businesses in Ganja, and coaching law students for moot court competitions.
Advocates
4 of our lawyers are members of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan: Narmin Talibzade, Kamran Bagirov, Tural Huseynzade and Farid Jafarov. Only advocates may defend in criminal cases.

A first meeting is 60 minutes and starts at ₼100
We read your papers and tell you what can be done, how long it will take and what it will cost. If you instruct us within 30 days, the meeting fee comes off your first invoice.
