A hearing: three people at a bench and a speaker facing them

We take cases through the commercial courts, appeal and cassation, and international arbitration. Before taking a case we read the papers and tell you in writing what the chances and the costs are.

What we do

  • Recovering unpaid debts: a demand letter first, then court
  • Disputes over supply, construction and service contracts
  • Disputes between shareholders
  • International arbitration and recognising foreign awards in Azerbaijan
  • Appeals and cassation complaints
  • Enforcing a judgment: freezing accounts and property

Who comes to us

Suppliers who have not been paid, contractors and employers, foreign companies in a dispute with an Azerbaijani partner.

Questions clients ask

How long does a court case take?

In our cases the first instance usually takes 3–6 months, and 8–12 months with an appeal. Many cases close after the demand letter without going to court at all.

Do you work for a success fee?

In part. We can lower the fixed fee and agree a success fee of up to 10% of what is recovered. We do not take cases on a success fee alone.

What papers should I bring?

The contract and its annexes, invoices or acceptance acts, payment orders, letters between the parties. E-mails and messages count as evidence too, so do not delete them.

A first meeting is 60 minutes and starts at ₼100
