Air is for cargo whose day costs more than a truck’s week: a spare part for a stopped line, medicines, phones and laptops, exhibition samples. It lands at the cargo terminal of Heydar Aliyev Airport, and if we have the documents a day ahead, we clear it the same day.

Chargeable weight: three examples
An airline charges for weight and for space. Multiply the length, width and height in centimetres and divide by 6,000: that is the volume weight. It is set against the actual weight, and you pay for the greater.

What cannot fly, and what flies on conditions

Routes, transit times and prices
Transit time is door to door. The price is where a quote starts for carriage from the point named to the Baku terminal; the exact figure depends on the weight, the size and the date.

- The air waybill (AWB): we issue it
- For goods with batteries, the UN 38.3 report and the MSDS
- An import permit for medicines and medical devices
- The consignee’s tax ID or identity card
Frequently asked questions
How is the price worked out?
The chargeable weight is multiplied by the rate per kilogram, and at least 45 kg is charged. The airport terminal fee and the air waybill are separate lines in the quote; nothing is added afterwards.
Can I collect the cargo on the day it lands?
Yes, if the invoice and the packing list reach us 24 hours before the flight. Cargo that lands in the morning is usually cleared by 17:00. When the documents come late, clearance moves to the next working day.
My cargo weighs less than 45 kg. Can I send it?
Yes, but it is charged as 45 kg. A 20 kg carton costs the same as 45 kg, so it pays to put several small orders into one consignment.
Do you fly cargo to Nakhchivan too?
Yes, on the domestic tariff: from Baku on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, ₼1.80 per kg with a minimum of ₼15. The calculator on the rates page works out the price.
