Oversized and heavy cargo
Excavators, transformers, plant equipment: three low-bed trailers, a route survey, road permits and an escort car are ours to arrange.

Everything that does not fit a standard trailer belongs here: excavators and bulldozers, transformers, boilers, presses, a factory line. The job starts with a route survey: no truck sets off until bridge capacities, tunnel and cable heights and turning radii have been checked.
What the service includes
- A route survey with a written report
- A loading and lashing plan
- Obtaining the road permits
- An escort car with amber lights, and a police escort where the permit calls for one
- A crane and riggers at both ends
- Cargo insurance at full value
What counts as oversized
| Dimension | A standard trailer takes | We carry on a low-bed |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 13.6 m | up to 14.5 m; longer on an extendable platform |
| Width | 2.45 m | up to 5.0 m |
| Height of the cargo | 2.7 m | up to 3.9 m (4.5 m above the road) |
| Weight | 22 t | up to 60 t |
Loads over 60 tonnes or more than 4.5 m high go on a rail well wagon or a modular trailer; the price follows the route survey.
Our low-bed trailers
| Trailer | Platform, L × W | Deck height | Payload |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-axle | 9.3 × 2.55 m, widens to 3.0 m | 0.90 m | 36 t |
| 4-axle, extendable | 9.5 m to 14.5 m × 2.55 m | 0.85 m | 48 t |
| 5-axle with a well deck | 8.5 × 2.75 m | 0.60 m | 60 t |
How a route survey goes
| Day | What happens | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | You send the drawing of the cargo, its weight and centre of gravity | A draft route and the choice of trailer |
| Days 2–3 | Our engineer drives the route: bridges, cables, turns, the width of the road | Measurements and photographs |
| Day 4 | The report: a route map, cables to be lifted, signs to be taken down | A fixed price |
| Days 5–14 | We obtain the permits and book the crane and the escort | The date of the move |
| The day of the move | Loading by day; movement inside towns at night, 23:00–06:00 | The cargo is on site |

Frequently asked questions
How far ahead do I need to book?
Two weeks ahead within Azerbaijan, 3–4 weeks for an international move. Most of that time goes on permits: 5–10 working days at home, longer in transit countries.
Who pays for the works along the route?
Lifting cables, taking signs down and putting them back, and the escort are all inside the fixed price in the report. No extra bill is raised on the day of the move.
Can a machine drive onto the trailer under its own power?
Yes, all our trailers have hydraulic ramps. Tracked and wheeled machines drive on themselves; a machine that does not run is pulled up with a 20-tonne winch.
