A 1.2 MW rooftop solar plant goes live at the Ganja plant
It will cover about 17 per cent of the plant’s annual electricity use.
There are 2,180 panels on the roofs of Murov Polimer’s halls. The mounting profiles came from Murov Metal and the cable from Murov Kabel. In its first month the plant generated 168 MWh.
The extrusion lines run round the clock, so all the daytime output is used on site. A 2.6 MW plant is planned for the roofs of the Sumgait site in 2027.
