Cable for a 110/35/10 kV substation in Shamkir
186 km of cable, including 42 km of 35 kV XLPE, in four lots, every drum with its test report.

Rebuilding the substation needed the 35 kV outgoing lines, the 10 kV feeders and all the control cable. Each of the 312 drums passed the high-voltage test and partial discharge measurement at the plant; the customer’s representative witnessed three of the test sessions.
The cable arrived in four lots over 11 weeks, matched to the installation schedule, so drums never piled up on site. Because lengths were cut to the trench runs, 18 fewer joints were needed than the design allowed for.
