Two new loading docks open at the terminal
The terminal now has 14 docks instead of 12. The wait for a truck to be unloaded has fallen from 55 minutes to 35.

On 3 August docks 13 and 14 came into use on the north side of the terminal. We now have 14 docks: 10 for trailers and 4 for vans. Both new ones take trailers and have a hydraulic leveller and a dock shelter, so cargo stays dry in the rain.
The first three weeks
- The average wait for a free dock fell from 55 minutes to 35.
- In the evening peak from 17:00 to 20:00, when the branch trucks load, 10 trailers stand at the docks at once instead of 8.
- Every branch truck is away by 20:30; the last one used to leave at 21:15.
If you are sending a truck
The terminal receives trucks Monday to Saturday, 08:00–22:00, by booked slot. A full trailer gets 45 minutes. Agree the slot with the dispatcher a day ahead: the driver receives the dock number by text message, crosses the weighbridge at the gate and backs straight onto the dock.
