The façade of Block A has reached the 11th floor
Fixing of the porcelain panels is twelve days ahead of schedule. The façade will be finished by the end of December.
On the street side of Block A the porcelain panels are fixed up to the 11th floor; on the courtyard side work is at the 8th. Two crews work on the façade at once, each fitting about 85 m² of panels a day.
Behind the panels sits a 10 cm layer of mineral wool, which keeps the flats cooler in summer, warmer in winter and quieter all year. Once the wool is on, the technical supervision engineer signs off each floor separately.
Windows are fully fitted on floors 2 to 9. The remaining floors will have theirs by mid-November and the façade itself will be finished by the end of December, in line with the handover of the block in June 2027.
