The foundation slab of Block C was poured in 38 hours
2,900 m³ of concrete in one continuous pour. Work on the frame starts in December.
The 1.4-metre foundation slab of Block C was poured between 28 and 30 July. In 38 hours, 362 mixer trucks delivered 2,900 m³ of concrete to the site without a break.
A slab is poured in one go so that no “cold joints” are left in the concrete, since such joints can later let water through. The slab holds 410 tonnes of rebar, signed off separately before the pour by chief engineer Vugar Safarov and by independent technical supervision.
The walls of the underground car park are now going up. The first floor of the frame will start in December 2026, and the block will be handed over in September 2028.
