Health, safety and environment

We work 1.4 to 1.7 million hours a year. We publish the figures every year, and every worker may stop a job when they see a hazard.

Report an incident or a hazard

Policy

  • No high-risk job starts without a permit to work: at height, in confined spaces, hot work, lifting, electrical.
  • Every shift starts with a safety briefing, recorded in the log.
  • Every employee and subcontractor may stop a job; nobody is punished for it.
  • Incident and hazard reports reach the system within 24 hours; investigations close within 10 working days.
  • Oily water, drilling waste and used oil are collected and treated; nothing is discharged to land or sea.

Rauf Huseynov, general director. In force from 15 January 2026.
