What we do
Surface preparation
Abrasive blasting up to Sa 2½, moisture and salt checks, surface profile measurement.
Coating
Multi-coat paint systems for tanks, trestles and steelwork; field joint coating and heat-shrink sleeves.
Cathodic protection
Installing anodes and stations, potential surveys, checks of existing systems.
How a job goes
- The coating system and inspection plan are agreed against the maker’s requirements.
- Surfaces are blasted; temperature, humidity and dew point are logged before every coat.
- Each coat’s thickness is measured and the record goes to the client.

Can you work on a tank in service?
On the outside, yes, under the permit system. Floors and internals need the tank emptied and gas-freed.
Which paint do you use?
The system the client specifies. If there is none, we propose two or three to suit the service conditions.
